Self-taught mixed media artist, Shari Jenkins Schmit, combines antique photos with vintage ephemera, buttons, flowers, barbed wired, bullets, maps, door knobs... you name it, she's scanned it!  She digitally creates a collage, then has it professionally printed on canvas.  Shari then embellishes each piece with acrylics and pastels.

​Shari's love of cowgirls is a prevalent theme in her art, as is her appreciation of Montana history.  And her tragic sense of humor.
